Delete your data

Email info@vumagigs.com and ask us to delete your data.

In the email, include the WhatsApp phone number you used with VumaGigs. We use that number to find your account, events, orders, and tickets.

We will confirm your request and complete deletion or anonymisation of data we control within thirty (30) days, except records Kenyan law requires us to keep.

On a valid request we remove or anonymise your WhatsApp number, display name, chat session data, events you created, unpaid orders, and ticket records we no longer need to keep.

We may retain M-Pesa receipts and paid order records for tax, accounting, and dispute purposes. Those records are not used to contact you.

Deleting your data with VumaGigs does not delete the WhatsApp chat on Meta or Safaricom payment records. Those are controlled by Meta and Safaricom.
